101 in 1001 2.0 / recap

Somehow my second 101 in 1001 list has come to an end. Officially my cutoff date was May 29, 2016, but June was crazy and now that I'm about ready to kick off my new list, I wanted to wrap up the last one! Some items I checked off in the final months...

36. Take a staycation and spend the night in a hotel. A and I spend the night at The Liberty hotel in Boston in May and it was soooo nice to just be away for the night. We watched tv, ordered breakfast in bed, and I took a long very bubbly bubble bath.

51. Nothing exciting to show, but I finally did a deep clean of the apartment myself. I straight up Googled cleaning tips and my biggest takeaway was to get thee some microfiber cloths. I got these from Amazon and they've been perfect not only for cleaning, but as dish towels!

64. Read 30 new books. Click here for some of my favorites

84. Write a new list. Coming soon!!

89. Plan a wedding. I help friends and family here and there and of course get to help clients at work. But now I'm working on ours!!

97. I learned a little Photoshop while working on our Save the Dates/Invites.

100. Take a creative class. My friend and I scored a Gilt City voucher for a floral arranging class. So fun!

Anyone else working on a 101 in 1001 list? Leave me the link the comments!

inspired / chanel

In my usual Pinterest wandering I stumbled upon these detail shots from the 2015 Chanel Couture show and they are show stoppers! I can only imagine how much work is involved in creating these amazing garments. What's inspiring you lately?

inspired / modern florals

I've been reading Sally and Molly's blog A Piece of Toast for years now and I was SO excited to see photos of Sally's gorgeous Florida wedding. The colorful, modern florals by Events by Nouveau in particular really inspired me. Here are the close ups:

wed / ribbons

The always lovely Lauren Wells designed this fabulously beautiful Vermont wedding and the equally lovely Krissy from Pollen Floral Design created these bouquets. The flowers are of course gorgeous but the long trailing ribbons are just the prettiest thing I've ever seen!

Here are a couple more be-ribboned bouquets:

I have nothing to add to this gorgeousness! May spring come soon.

wed / jewel tone florals

I spotted these jewel toned florals on Pinterest recently and don't think I could dream up a better winter bouquet myself! The deeper toned blooms are perfection this time of year and the soft colors keep it looking bridal. What flowers do you like to see in the winter?

I often say flowers are so pretty that I want to eat them…this rustic meets classic meets Southern bouquet looks delicious! I love the subtle pop of color and the greenery.

wed / recent favorites

I’ve pinned so many beautiful wedding images lately that I decided to share them all at once in brain dump form. I noticed a theme of traditional elegance with some rustic and natural touches.

wed / floral garlands

Happy #weddingwednesday!
Lately I have been really drawn to natural garlands used as decor. Whether they’re draped down the center of a long table or used to mark the bride’s and groom’s chairs, they’re definitely a winner in my book! Take a look at some of my favorites:

wed / flowers

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

I happen to really love both amaryllis and ranunculus and the addition of the privet berries and kumquats are the icing on the cake!

wed / draped ceremony

What a stunner of a ceremony entrance!! I love the look of the draped curtains with garlands of greenery. This could also work as the backdrop for the ceremony, the entrance to the reception, or modified as a photo booth backdrop!
Happy wedding Wednesday!

wed / rustic fall florals

Today is a clear, crisp 60 degrees in Boston and it has me loving fall florals. This autumn arrangement with the mini pomegranates and dahlias is just…sigh.

Happy Wedding Wednesday!
