A Wink and A Smile: About Me

Growing up in Charleston, SC I was always surrounded by beautiful places, creative people, gorgeous events, colorful fashion, and amazing food--both in restaurants and at home. I like to say I started my event planning career with my own bat mitzvah and gradually began to realize that not only did I love it, but it was a viable career option!

After moving north of the Mason-Dixon to attend Boston University (go Terriers!) and graduating with a degree in Hospitality Administration, I pursued my dream of planning weddings and events and currently work in catering sales for a Kimpton Hotels in Boston and Cambridge. My senior year of college, I decided to create a place that I could share all of the ideas and inspirations I've gathered over the years and A Wink and A Smile was born!
