I'll be honest...I have no idea who Erica Pelosini and Louis Leeman are. But when I saw their Capri wedding on The Coveteur I stopped in my tracks. Never have I seen a wedding so untraditional in the BEST way. Every single detail of the weekend from the clothes to the setting so clearly is reflective of who the bride and groom are, regardless of the "right" way of doing things.
The lesson here is screw tradition! Do what feels right whether that means a short wedding dress, fruit on the tables instead of flowers, or riding to the ceremony on a mini construction truck.
If you're married or planning a wedding, what did you do/are you planning that's outside the box? I would love to hear new ideas!
Hi! I'm Ellie. Event and Wedding Planner. I love weddings, the beach, good food, bad tv, laughing, dancing, fireworks, swings, + chocolate. I like lists. My favorite flowers are tulips, but it changes sometimes. A perfect Sunday morning is spent snuggling in bed with a cup of coffee. Boston is my adopted city, but there is no place like my hometown of Charleston, SC.
