Scrolling through my recent pins, I noticed a pattern of watercolor stationery and invitations. I love that it can be casual and beach-y, formal with calligraphy, or a mix of the two. From festive to elegant, there are so many pretty inspiration photos out there. And there are tons of great DIY tutorials out there too!

Awesome wedding idea alert!! Last night I was poking around online looking for wedding branding ideas and wedding branding guides and stumbled upon a new website called Violet. Violet "is an online service that helps you create your own wedding style, complete with a custom logo and professional Style Guide." Currently the site is in Beta and I can't wait to see what comes next!

Naturally I immediately made an account so I could test drive the site. They have more than a dozen styles to work with ranging from modern to classic to rustic. First you fill out a quick profile about you, your date, and (my favorite) your love story in a tweet! Then you can choose some inspiration photos or upload your own, choose colors, customize the logo, include a style statement, and then download a style guide!! I love seeing all the design details come together just like a professional branding sheet. Here's one I made for fun:

I think this is an amazing tool for couples who want a cohesive look and feel to the wedding, but either don't have the budget for custom design or don't have the time to delve so far into the process. I can't wait to see how the site grows and evolves!
