celebrate / splurge list

I put together this group of splurge worthy items mostly for fun. Whether you go in on a gift with a few people, give one big gift per person, or are feeling extra generous, here are some splurge-worthy gift ideas. I wouldn’t be disappointed to see any of these end up in my lap!

celebrate / gift guide for her

I definitely did something wacky with scheduling this post for yesterday! Regardless, here are some of my favorites gifts for her. Happy shopping!

{card case for business cards / festive plaid shirt / coffee table book (one of my favorites!) / oversized colorful studs (something many wouldn’t buy for themselves) / tech gloves / rose gold rings / glittery nail polish}

PS-Jenn from Much to My Delight posted a great article about depression during the holidays. I love gift giving and cheer, but recognize that life can’t always be sunshine and rainbows for everyone.

celebrate / gift guide for him

I don’t know about anyone else, but I find guys to be the hardest to shop for!! Of course it’s easy to buy something in the clothes/accessories area, but I avoid that unless I know there’s something specific they want.
For my dad, I typically stick to accessories, books/music, or something else I might know he wants. I often treat my brother to an evening out in lieu of a tangible gift. And for boyfriends, I choose experiences such as tickets to a sporting event, concert, or class.
All that said, here are a couple of my favorites you can order right from your computer:

{next issue subscription-why give one magazine when they can have access to 100+ for $10 a month? / glasses holder / flask / tech gloves / turn anything into a speaker with a rock-it / leather catchall (comes monogrammed) / business card case / velvet bowtie}

celebrate / gift guide for the hostess

I have to be totally honest: I’m putting this gift guide post together a little bit on the fly (at least I picked the gifts out in advance!) but really wanted to share some of my gift ideas this week while everyone is holiday shopping!
Today I have some ideas for the hostess and throughout the week I’ll share my picks for the girls, for the guys, for the home, and some splurge favorites. Aside from the splurges, I’ve done my best to keep everything in the very affordable range. Happy shopping!!

{candle for her bedside table / notecards / entertaining cookbook I recently acquired this one and can’t wait to host a party! / favorite holiday dvd what better way for the hostess to unwind? / taper candles / monogrammed coasters / pretty matchbooks / monogrammed glassware}
