Good Monday morning everyone!

I’ve decided to dedicate this week to the royal wedding and all my thoughts and opinions. First of course, is Catherine’s dresses. I was confident that Catherine would wear more than one dress, especially since her ceremony dress was likely to be huge and not easy to manage for eating and dancing. 

First the ceremony dress:

While it is gorgeous and she is STUNNING beyond belief, I was disappointed. I’ve come to realize that I think I expected something new and different. I would have liked to see Catherine in a gown with a wide boatneck instead of the plunge and with more veil, less train, and a fuller skirt. Something along these lines but with sleeves and a fuller skirt:

Love the full skirt, love the cardigan, LOVE the beaded belt! In no way, shape, or form do I think this would have worked for the ceremony, but WOW it’s perfect for a party!
