This weekend I (by I, I mean my manly boyfriend) FINALLY hung up the shelves from Ikea and the drawer knobs for necklaces! I’m so glad to have an update. They look exactly the way I imagined and my room looks so much more finished now. Without further ado…

I decided to hang only three of the shelves since they needed to be spaced out and needed clearance over the lamp on my nightstand and I needed to be able to somewhat reach the top. I also scored the two turquoise vases for $9 the other day at Marshall’s. Win!! 

And look how lovely the knobs look:

Ignore the extra hole; there was going to be a fourth knob there but the drill hit something thick and metal and the hole wasn’t deep enough. I still have to patch it. 

The only real steps left in my bedroom project are to clean up, buy a box spring and bedding, and add a few more accessories to the room.
