A Wink and A Smile

I recently (as in two months ago) started going to the gym on a regular basis. I feel great and I’m surprised to find that I’m not nearly as bored as I thought I would be. I have been getting sick of my iPod though and yesterday decided to treat myself to 5 new songs to revamp my playlist. These are the songs I added (the link leads to the YouTube video):

I am excited to share that I started a new job this week. I’m also very excited that I’ll have my very own cubicle and desk for the very first time!! At my last job the three of us shared an office and a table. I can’t wait to put up pictures, have my own storage and organizational system, and a place to call my own. I’m also excited that I finally have a use for these babies from one of my favorites, Knock Knock. (Click the pictures to go to the webpage!)

1. You came home from Dallas a whole day early.

Like most of you I’m sure, I’m addicted to Pinterest. My favorite thing to look for is photos of amazing home decor. I even had to break my home decor board up by category because it was getting so crowded. I wanted to share my very favorite inspiration photos. Behold, my dream house:

Remember my 101 in 1001 list and how enthusiastic I used to be about it? Well friends, sadly the transition into the real world has taken over my life and this list has definitely taken the back burner. The end date is October 15, 2012 and I remember sitting in my dorm room in London thinking that that day was so far away. Now I can already see the finish line and if I’m honest with myself I know I won’t come close to finishing this list before the deadline. But it’s my list and my goals and my rules. So I’m renewing my efforts and if I decide to extend the deadline, I will darn it! 

Here are a few things I’d like to accomplish soon:

• Continue writing a letter to a new person once a month
• Finish watching the Greatest American Movies (still need: Citizen Kane, The Godfather, Lawrence of Arabia, and On the Waterfront)
• Floss every night for a month
• Buy myself flowers
• Go a weekend without chocolate
• Make bread from scratch
• Go to a wine tasting
