I have a plan for this Ikea rug:

I’ve really been dying for a rug and for $40 plus paint, I think this is the only way I can do it for awhile. I want to paint it with a grey pattern, but I’m not sure what pattern will be best, especially when I factor in how long some patterns might take. I love this one:

But I can’t even imagine the amount of time necessary to make it happen. Any suggestions? Put them in my ask box please!!!!

1. You learned how to make an amazing meal from your grandma and made it for me for dinner on Wednesday.

2. You cheered me up and let me cry after a long day at work on Wednesday.

3. You are adorable when you play with my roommate’s kitten.

1. You planned a trip to Charleston to go see my family. I’m glad you all get along so well!

When we last left off (I apologize for the delay) I just realized that the $30 couch was in fact a loveseat. I mentioned this to the girl selling it and pointed out that the one in the picture she sent me was full sized. She got really flustered and apologized and told me I could have it for free…or for whatever I wanted. In my head I was like, what I want is free since I rented this stupid van and drove out here to get it. 

So Ashley and I decided that it would be nice to have the two matching loveseats in our living room facing each other kind of like this, but in a very different room:

And hey, the loveseat was free, plus the $68 or so in the van and gas. 

One sofa has a white cover and the other has a fairly dirty tan one. We decided we’re going to do grey covers and a mish-mash of pillows that we like. Once the walls are painted and the covers procured, I’ll post an update!
