Happy Friday everyone!! It’s hot hot hot in Boston this weekend and I’m looking forward to relaxing, spending time with my girl friends, and taking some portraits with my dear friend Ashley (pending my randomly strained back feels better). Any good weekend plans?

Happy long weekend!! I feel as though I should have fabulous beach plans, but as the Boston forecast reads grey, cool, and rainy, I’m looking forward to a weekend to recharge. I have a friend’s birthday party, brunch plans for Saturday and potentially some new head shots with my dear friend Ashley.

And on the downtime side I’m thinking about seeing a movie alone…

If you follow me on Instagram (@awinkasmile), you might have seen that I cut my hair!! I would say I took off maybe 5-6 inches. It feels so much lighter and a bit more grown up. And I’m not gonna lie, Julia, Molly, and Liz's new 'dos encouraged me  to take the plunge recently.

Happy Mother’s Day to the best mommy I could ask for. Thanks for teaching me how to have parties without going crazy, how to swim and love the beach, patience and empathy, the value of my education, and how to clean (but also know when there are more important things). I love you, Mom!
